ASTRAFLOW / CUSTOM AI / GUATEMALA

Your operation. Your own AI model.

We develop artificial intelligence models using images from your operation. We start with your needs, assess the data and test a proposal before defining its implementation.

Let's talk about your project

The scope, detectable classes, channels and alert timing are defined after assessing your images and validating a pilot. Accuracy and response times cannot be guaranteed without that assessment.

01 / FEATURED PROJECT / COMPUTER VISION

Poultry farm protection

Help monitor chickens and flag snakes, rats, cats, dogs, people or opossums near the rearing area.

Illustrative colour scene of a farm with chickens and a threat beside the enclosure, detection boxes and a phone displaying a fictional alert.
Illustrative scene
  1. We collect and label your images of chickens and threats, in daytime colour and at night using infrared cameras.

  2. We train a custom model and validate each category with images set aside for the pilot.

  3. We connect the cameras and agree on zones, alert rules and recipients for detected threats.

A proposed threat alert based on the agreed rules, with the detected category, camera, photo, date and time so your team can review the situation.

Email and WhatsApp

If cameras capture people, inform them of the surveillance and comply with local privacy regulations. Define who can access the images and how long they are retained.

02 / COFFEE / CARDAMOM / VEGETABLES

Monitoring pests and signs of disease

Help find visible pests and changes in leaves or fruit that warrant a specialist's review in coffee, cardamom and vegetable crops.

Illustrative colour scene of coffee leaves with visible signs, detection boxes and a phone displaying a fictional notice for specialist review.
Illustrative scene
  1. We collect your crop photographs and examples reviewed by a specialist; for nighttime use, we assess infrared cameras and visible pests.

  2. We train a pilot for the selected signs and check its limits across lighting conditions, crops and cameras.

  3. We define zones and alert criteria to send images that need a field inspection.

A proposed alert for a possible pest or visual sign, with an image, recorded location and time. Nighttime infrared does not replace a crop health diagnosis.

03 / SOLAR ENERGY / THERMOGRAPHY

Thermal inspection of solar panels

Help locate unusual thermal patterns in solar panels that may indicate defective cells or other areas requiring inspection.

Illustrative colour scene of solar panels in Guatemala, boxes around areas of interest and a phone displaying a fictional inspection request.
Illustrative scene
  1. We collect visible and thermal images of your panels using a specialist thermal camera and defined capture conditions.

  2. We train a pilot to flag anomalies and compare its alerts with a technician's inspection.

  3. We organise captures by panel and agree which findings to send for a scheduled inspection.

A proposed thermal anomaly alert with the identified panel, image and capture time. The usefulness of a nighttime capture depends on the conditions assessed.

04 / SHOPS / OPERATIONS

People counting and shop occupancy

Help track entries, exits and estimated occupancy to organise service and flag when an agreed occupancy threshold is reached.

Illustrative colour scene of a Guatemalan shop entrance, people with counting boxes and a phone displaying a fictional occupancy notice.
Illustrative scene
  1. We define counting areas and collect your entrance images in different lighting conditions, including infrared where applicable.

  2. We train and validate a counting pilot without incorporating personal identification.

  3. We configure the agreed thresholds and recipients for occupancy alerts.

A proposed alert when an estimated occupancy threshold is reached, with the area, count and time; summaries are defined around the shop's operation.

05 / CONSTRUCTION / OPERATIONAL SAFETY

Hard hat and safety vest detection

Help a construction team review possible missing hard hats or safety vests in areas where this equipment is required.

Illustrative colour scene of a construction site with workers, boxes around hard hats and vests and a phone displaying a fictional supervisor notice.
Illustrative scene
  1. We collect authorised images of your site, its protective equipment and the cameras' lighting conditions.

  2. We train a pilot and validate colour and infrared separately; if a vest cannot be distinguished at night, we adjust the scope.

  3. We define zones, schedules and rules to notify the supervisor and request a review.

A proposed alert for a possible missing hard hat or vest, with the area, image and time, subject to the site supervisor's review.

Email and WhatsApp

If cameras capture people, inform them of the surveillance and comply with local privacy regulations. Define who can access the images and how long they are retained.

06 / WAREHOUSES / VISUAL MONITORING

Smoke and fire notices for warehouses

Help flag visual signs of smoke or fire in a warehouse as a complement to certified detection and alarm systems.

Illustrative colour scene of a warehouse with a sign of smoke, detection boxes and a phone displaying a fictional notice for review.
Illustrative scene
  1. We assess your cameras and collect authorised images with relevant examples and situations that could cause confusion.

  2. We train a pilot and validate which signs are visible by day and at night with the available equipment.

  3. We agree on alert rules and a review protocol with the warehouse team.

A proposed notice of signs of smoke or fire, with the camera, image and time, following the validated rules. It complements certified systems and does not replace them.

Email and WhatsApp

If cameras capture people, inform them of the surveillance and comply with local privacy regulations. Define who can access the images and how long they are retained.

Your questions, answered

Is the model trained on my own images?

Yes. The proposal starts with images from your operation that you are authorised to use. We review their quality, categories and labelling, and set aside separate images to evaluate the pilot.

Are nighttime infrared and thermal imaging the same?

No. A camera with infrared illumination can show scenes at night; a specialist thermal camera records thermal information. We select and validate the equipment for each project.

How does a project begin?

We discuss your needs, assess images and cameras, and define a pilot. After validating its limits, we agree on the implementation, recipients and alert channels; timing depends on the scope and available data.

What should we consider when people appear in the images?

Inform people of the surveillance, comply with local privacy regulations and agree on image access and retention. The occupancy proposal counts people without incorporating their identification.
